Men's T-Shirts of Yesteryear

It's that time of the year where I am starting to think about getting some new tshirts but sick of getting tees that I hate after bringing them home. I'd love to hear some recommendations for places or brands that do nice casual tshirts that fit with some space, have the same thick cotton qualities and loose fit of the old music and band tshirts from HMV, but without the music theme if possible.
