Gender markers

So am I crazy or when Jesse was recounting him an arlo getting stopped the Canadian boarder a few weeks, he said that changed his gender marker was changed back to F.

I could swear that before they moved when Jesse got his passport they literally said that it hadn’t been changed and they had no issues? Am I misremembering or are they both diabolical both pathological liars
