A question on story content delivery and seasons

So I’m really enjoying the story delivery in this game with the hades like drip feed between runs as you complete quests. But I started thinking, when we hard reset for season 2 and have to run the vendor rep back again, will it be the same quests/info dumps or will the narrative be moved forward with new/different dialogue? Have Bungie made any comments in regard to this aspect?
