Which laptop is better for aerospace engineering, Macbook or Windows?

Hello everyone, I’m a first-year engineering student planning to major in aerospace engineering. I’m about to buy a new laptop for studying and coursework, but I’m having trouble deciding which one to get.

When I asked my friends and relatives for advice, I got very mixed opinions. Some of my friends recommend getting a MacBook, while others strongly suggest a Windows laptop.

For those studying engineering or aerospace engineering, which option would you recommend and why? What kind of laptop specs should I look for?
