Things many small Indian startups don’t realize are actually illegal

I’ve noticed a lot of early stage startups unknowingly doing things that can create big problems later.

Examples I’ve seen:

1. Using random images from Google on websites

2. Running a partnership without written agreement ( not illegal but recommended)

3. Taking investment informally through UPI

4. Using a brand name without checking trademark

5. Copy-pasting privacy policies from other websites

Most people think these things are small until a dispute happens.
