[Release] My new Mario Kart World shortcuts website! Become a Contributor to support!
I am a second year CompSci student that enjoys playing MKW, but almost don't have the time to look for and learn new shortcuts. And for a while i've been working on a community-driven website called MKWshortcuts.com and I am excited to announce that the website is almost finished developing!
MKW Shortcuts is a non-profit website where you can quickly discover, share, and learn Mario Kart World shortcuts and here what it offers:
- Interactive Map - Pick a track that you want and discover shortcuts on it!
- Each shortcut is a marker on the track that let's you quickly see where it is located and how to perform it!
- Community feed - a feed of all community-shared shortcuts. Like, comment, and save shortcuts!
- Share your own - Share your discovered shortcuts in the feed or under any track page!
- Customize your profile - Public profiles with your published shortcuts, saved shortcuts, bio, and links to social media!
See the workflow of the website on the video/pictures I demonstrated.
Currently, the website is still private, since I still need to include all the essential shortcuts on each track map, and given that I am a Computer Science student with all these exams and assignments coming up - it will take forever.
However you can help me out by becoming a contributor and uploading your own shortcuts for tracks. You’ll be able to place markers on the route map (as shown in the image) and as a humble reward, I will credit you in the website and give you the role of an Early Contributor (can't pay you since i barely have any money :P ).
If you'd like to help, DM me, suggest new ideas, or become a volunteer for the website to release to the public in no time! Thank you so much for your attention!!
