While the war goes on, over on the home front, the trials of the rebels in Kiev and the Crimea have largely concluded. Out of the nearly 9,000 rebels captured in the war, most were found guilty of treason. However, as promised, 1,200 Kievan nobles and 3,000 Crimean Tatars who had surrendered before the rebellion ended have been granted a pardon. Those who refused to do so before the rebellion ended were not given the same privilege.

1,200 Rebel Kievan nobles and 2,500 Crimean Tatars were thus found guilty and sentenced to death for treason, plundering, murder, and many other heinous crimes. These were carried out either through hanging for commoners or beheadings with an executioner's sword for nobles. Included in this list was of course two of the main leaders of the rebellion; Mikhail Saltykov and Halim Giray.

However, the rest of the rebels were granted leniency for a number of reasons; either they were too young for execution or were former serfs pressed into service by the nobles. Thus, their sentences were commuted either to prison, house arrest, manual labor, or were simply acquitted. Included among these was Halim Giray's son, who was treated for his wounds by Sarmatian doctors and is now held prisoner in Warsaw to prevent any further revolts alongside other surviving rebel Girays. This has not affected any Girays in the Crimea, as well as Kievan nobles who have stayed loyal as they will be rewarded for their efforts.

Any lands owned by the rebel Boyars and Tatars have been confiscated by the state, and redistributed either to loyal nobles, to former serfs, or made into pronoias -at the discretion of Grand Princess Tymus Myriopera Opheria.

The newly conquered lands of the Eastern Ukraine will be converted to Pronoias for Tatar loyalists so as to prevent any further discontent.

While public reception to these verdicts has been generally positive, the Sarmatian nobility are more divided on the issue as the right of nobles is one they long hold dear. Many of the more conservative nobility are vocally against these executions, while the younger or relatively newer nobles are generally ambivalent or supportive of it but criticize the division of executions between commoners and nobles.

As the enlightenment spreads, increasing demands for equality in the law are demanded.
