What kind of arc/ending would you write for Clint?

I have some trouble understanding why people get so attached to shitty characters like Clint (looking at the SDV sub...)

Personally I'd prefer if instead of getting a re-work, Clint just decided to hop on a bus and move to Zuzu City or somewhere else after all his misery about Emily. Then maybe we could just get a whole new character moving in or something.

Note: I know I didn't make the game (doesn't seem like updates can be put to a vote either), nor am I a modder, just want to see other people get more creative with it.
