To men: how much a bad first performance in bad with a girl affects you continue dating that girl or not?

TL/DR;Dated a guy briefly but I don’t know where things can go now.

I (28/F) had an experience with a guy(28/M), we know each other since a few months (we’re in the same MBA) but started in this sense only a few weeks ago, that finished very quickly, I didn’t see it as a problem but he apologized and now he is more distant than before. I don’t know what to do, I tried to text him, he suggests meeting but then nothing really happens and the conversation just fades. Is it because of the last time? Or he just is not that into me?

Please let me know what you think about it and if you think I should just move on from this guy.
