Can I save an iPod that needs to factory reset every time I upload new music?
I started using my old Gen 7 Classic iPod about a month ago. I'm in the process of slowly building my music library. It was awesome at first, but then I added new music and found that my iPod had 0 songs on it when I ejected it.
I plugged it back into my laptop and it recommended factory resetting. I did. And uploaded all the music back on it.
The next time I added new music the same thing happened. I gave it one more chance, and you bet, same thing: 0 songs.
A quick Google is telling me that there's an issue with the disk. Is this fixable? I'm not tech savvy enough to take my iPod apart but is it likely that I can find someone to restore it?
I rather fix what I have than buy a new MP3 player if I can!
