[M4A] Guardians of the caravan

Heya Wanna weave tale of swords,magic and lust?

You are travelling with a caravan comprised of traders and entertainers with a decently sized escort. It's heading into town at the edge of wastelands, where big profits can be made if ones brave enough or for some lucky enough. Journey soo far was without any bigger issues aside from a couple scraps with bandits but they quickly learned that it has really effective guards.

With a couple more days left to arrive into Rim, the intensity of attacks is slowly rising, after all wastelands are filled with cutthroats and monsters because no authority has deemed worth it claiming it for themselves. Even Rim the town closest to wastelands has been left to itself with no nation putting claim to it, only the mercenary guild keeping it from turning into a lawless hellhole.

One night caravan is awoken by the biggest attack soo far. This time those bandits attacked with fire arrows setting several tents on fire. Defenders are quick to action but there is too many attackers for them to be able to help dealing with fire without letting the scumbags do as they please.

You are one of the last defenders to get up and run into action as u just got off patrol duty. As you are putting on your armor hastily while running towards the fight, but suddenly there is a bandit wielding a rusty axe standing in front of you but your sword is still inside its scabbard and you are struggling to pull it out. Your heartbeat gets faster as you realize it might be too late to draw your sword. You see the axe rising for strike when suddenly it falls back down as bandits body falls back with a throwing axe protruding from his chest. You turn around and see the one of the new joining guards with arm still raised from his throw. He moves to pull his axe out of the dead body. When he is putting back into its holder on his belt. He looks back at you "Pay me back later". with grin plastered over his face

Who are we? Part of the mercenary band defending caravan. Who are we to each other? That's up to you to decide. Who are we as character? Let's cook up something fun.
