I was stupid and accidentally let the Duchess get JubJub'd, is there no other way to progress to queensland without hilling hien?

I thought I killed jubjub pretty early in my playthrough, but it seems I was a bit too late.

I want to progress to queensland for prickett but I dont really want to kill my goat Hien.

Is there really no other way?
