Dreamt about ex and then he texted in real life

Hello so the story with him and me didn't end very well and I made a mistake. Anyways we separated and it's almost 1 year ago. The last message was about 10 months ago in which he insulted me. I still sometimes dream about him, but it's totally okay with me; | don't get sad or anything afterward. But recently I dreamt about him again, and then he just texted me in real life, in the middle of the night.

(Mind you, he needed to unblock me for the text message) I was so shocked because he had blocked me back then and even insulted me, saying I was always contacting him. I only replied to his "heyy" days later and asked what was going on, why he had texted me. And he just said that I was saved as someone else's contact and that he had supposedly mistaken me for someone else, and then he blocked me again. Now I just can't get it out of my head:

(Does it mean anything, especially because of the dream? And the fact that he just texted me for real while I was dreaming about him

Or is it really just a rare coincidence?
