Is it realistic to become a guitar player / singer at 20

I’m almost 20 and picked up my first guitar about a week ago. I’ve never played before and in just opinion, I’m making some good progress. Now I’ve always been into country music and genres like that, most of which include the guitar as the main instrument. I sing along to these songs pretty well and it got me thinking if I could become a British country singer (I’ve never heard those words in the same sentence 😅). What I’m asking is would this be realistic to give a go starting at 20? I don’t plan on going celebrity level, just a few listeners on Spotify and some local gigs. Apologies if this isn’t the right subreddit for this.
