Wheelchair in hot car

Hi everyone. For reference, I have a manual wheelchair and I live in Phoenix, Arizona. During the winter, I like to keep it in the trunk of my car because it's heavy and a pain to take in and out. Would it be okay if I left it in the car over the summer though?
