Planning to work in Europe as a Health Care Aide after studying in Canada
Hi everyone,
I’m currently in Canada studying to become a Health Care Aide (Nursing Assistant), and I’m about to graduate. The issue is that my Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) will only be valid for one year, which makes me feel like it might not be enough time to qualify for permanent residency.
To be honest, getting PR in Canada isn’t really my main goal anymore. I’ve realized that I don’t see myself settling here long-term. I find life here a bit boring, and the weather is really difficult for me to adjust to.
I’m interested in moving to Europe and would be happy to work as a Health Care Aide or in a similar healthcare support role. I’ve tried researching options, but I’m having a hard time finding clear information.
Does anyone know what the possible pathways are for someone like me to move to Europe, work in healthcare support, and eventually qualify for long-term residency or citizenship?
Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
