5 gallon fishtank aquarium!

Hi!! I want to make sure my fish will be healthy with this routine, I have a betta in a 5 gallon and this is what I plan: every Sunday, 25% water change, and I vaccum (siphon) the entire surface of the sand, so it’s all clean. I also feed him 4 pellets twice a day, is this an okay routine to have everyday? What else should I add?
