Honeymoon help
Apologies I am completely aware that the whole situation in the Middle East is greatly affecting people in horrific ways and I don’t mean to sound tone deaf, I know my problem comes from privilege but I do still need advice
We are getting married 06 June so 3 months away now. We’ve booked and paid for our honeymoon, where we are supposed to fly through Doha airport, which is currently closed.
We haven’t heard anything from the travel agents we booked with yet, but wondering whether we should try to wait it out for a few weeks to see if there’s any chance we can still go, or whether to just cut our losses, cancel and try to recoup costs and book somewhere else?
We’re supposed to be going to the Maldives which is our absolute dream honeymoon so giving up on it feels heartbreaking but obviously there’s time needed if we need to book somewhere else to go
Thanks in advance
