Ok so, I'm going to have a review of Cell vs Metal Sonic up tomorrow as usual. But right now, I need to talk about the next time. Because I'm not going to sugarcoat it, this is the worst I've felt seeing a next time, ever. I had a big smile on my face in the winner screen, and it all completely faded away as I realised what the next time was. Now look, I don't completely hate Bakugo vs Reze. I think the fight could be cool, and it could make for a mildly interesting episode. But mildly interesting is not what I call either of these characters. I absolutely love Reze and Bakugo, and both deserve a matchup way better than this. Bakugo has Blue, and Reze has Annie. I get why they are doing this, but I'm just so unhappy with it. And tbh, part of it is probably that they're doing it so soon. Not just because I'm working on the Terra vs Reze video, which like, yeah, THAT'S not happening now, but also because there were so many other matchups that would've generated way more hype. Monokuma vs Korosensei, Gru vs Megamind, Luz vs Anne, for fuck sake at least Aang vs Aether would've had people talking about Aang getting the runback he deserves. All this episode is going to spark is dispare and toxicity. I know why they're doing this matchup, My Hero and Chainsaw Man are big view makers, and Reze imparticular is extremely popular. But just because it'll be popular, doesn't mean it'll be good. Frankly, I had better faith in Superman vs Scarlet King than this. I'm sorry if you like the matchup and are excited for it, but for me, this announcement completely got rid of the happiness I felt at the end of the episode. If it's good, it's good, but I'm still going to be disappointed that both characters got THIS instead of something worth doing.

I just had to rant about this for my own sanity. I'm sorry if I upset you, but I genuinely haven't felt this dim since the Champions Island. I just had to say this to someone. Thank you for reading.

Ok. Let's talk about the next time.
