Does the requiem work on The Girl on insanity?

I’m at the care center basement and keep getting killed by the Girl, usually the requiem works to stun her a bit but that doesn’t seem to be the case on her first appearance here so I was wondering if it works at all on her here or if it’s just useless against her? Any help is appreciated
