Silksong on Switch is particularly evil - or is it just me?

I’ve made it to Act 3 and have been trying to finish the Coral Tower gauntlets and I just can’t do it. Doesn’t matter which combinations, crests, fighting styles, I’ve died dozens and dozens of times. I’m wondering if it’s because playing it on a Switch is unusually difficult or if I‘m just useless. Any other Switch players out there finding the same thing?
