Looking to make friends

I’m a middle-aged single dad looking for friends in the South Bay. I’ve been in the area for a few years, but haven’t really made many solid friends. I’m tired of the mostly solitary life and am looking to change that. I’ve met some people via meetups, but would like to expand my social horizons. I like to go to the gym, hike, take long walks, most sports, but I don’t drink (alcohol doesn’t agree with me). I’d prefer to meet other guys, but am open to platonic friendships with women also. Anyone else feeling this way in the South Bay? If so, let’s chat!
