Deluxe Extras Trouble

I downloaded Minecraft Deluxe for my son to use on his Switch 2. The purchase was made via my Nintendo account, but he is part of the Family Group as a supervised child. He can play the game itself fine, but cannot access any of the extras that come with the deluxe version. The extras are visible on my profile but not on his. Did I make a mistake purchasing under my account? Is there a way to get him access to the extras using his profile?
