Please help!

Hi, I just tested positive for ureaplasma (of course my results came in over the weekend so I can’t speak to my doctor) I’m just curious what this means for my partner, I understand he didn’t cheat (and I obviously didn’t). We’ve been dating over a year, but I have had ongoing problems with my iud and was just now tested for ureaplasma. Will he have to go get tested too? Or how does he get medication? I’m just looking for some knowledge
