Are most people cringey when they’re drunk?

every time i get drunk, i cringe at myself the next day. i am a massive flirt and i don’t usually get flirted with. but for some reason these old guys kept coming to our table when me and my friends were having a discussion and i started flirting back with them. they were eyeballing me the most that i assumed in my head i must be kinda hot now because i don’t get out often. anyway one dude said “hey can you make sure nobody date r**es my drink while i go to the bathroom”. i said “i think u just wanna talk to me but sure.” and i kept doing that to all the other guys to, flirting back with them slightly and then saying okay byeeeee so they knew to leave us alone. and old dude said “i like her she’s a tough cookie.” then when we got to the convenience store, i was trying to flirt with the indian guy cashier but he was more into my friend and they talked for an hour while i approached a random guy and flirted with him saying “hey is it normal for me to be jealous tha my friend is getting flirted with. am i beautiful?” bish what? anyway ewwwww. i wanna be done drinking so bad but feel i need it socially to chill. but are most people cringey drunks or just me? im almost 29, too old to be acting weird.
