Stop downplaying Zionism in Kpop.
I'm saying this as an Egyptian that has has known about the issue since I was a child, but it's weird how Kpop fans keep downplaying the issue the moment their faves are mentioned or even slightly criticized for it.
Every time a Kpop idol is announced as the ambassador of a company that openly supports and contributes to the Zionist regime everyone is quick to say that critique against the idols is performative and takes focus away from the actual issue when it's the opposite.
When an idol or group collaborates with known Zionist companies -like mcd or cocacola- and immediately boycotted or criticized for it, it shows the industry that there is no place for Zionism in it and that supporting the Zionist entity brings about more negative impact than profit.
But, when you guys stay silent and instead drive away the people calling it out, it shows these corporations and idols that working with Zionist companies isn't harmful for them in the long run, since criticism dies down immediately.
Kpop fans act like the concept of boycotting is just a tool utilized by haters to bring down their favourite Kpop idol and not an actual campaign practiced by everyone around the world.
Sorry for my bad English😞
