This game is missing a crucial but basic social feature: direct messaging.

A lot of people meet and plan through external apps, but if you organically meet and add people in-game, there's no possible way to communicate with them. Sure you can invite them to your lobby, or rudely just pop into their lobby, but it'd be great to be able to message them first.

It's not really talked about, but EA has developed really nice social features for Battlefield 6. Not only can you dm people from in-game, but there's an external app that's fully integrated with the in-game messaging feature.
