Are Mario Kart Arcade GP and Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 still canon?

They are supposedly considered canon because the publishers were unknown and the games were referenced in canon Mario Kart titles. However, according to the wiki, Mario Kart Arcade GP and Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 were actually published by Namco and Bandai Namco Amusement respectively, using these sources:

If that’s the case, does that mean they’re no longer considered canon since they weren’t published by Nintendo? That would be a bit strange.
