Is pressing the button of lift in Delhi metro via foot is a Penalizable offence?

Yes I did that today and got fined for it

I know I shouldn't have been doing that, but it was out of instinct and half intentional. I got fined for ₹200 but when I read the official penalty list there is no such mention of this.
