Suggestions for summer driving

Hello all! I want to get a car this spring, I want something fun to drive. I was thinking about a convertible or a sedan. I’ve been looking on Facebook marketplace, but don’t know what to really look for. my budget is $6k. It would be just a weekend car, and used for trips to the beach. I like the Mercedes CLK350 but I want other options to look for. All help is appreciate!
