All kingdom saving arcs after Alabasta are medicore.
Honestly don’t know if Oda should have ever done a kingdom-saving arc after alabasta.. I know that these are like the arcs that define one piece, but I honestly find all of them kinda medicore… every time Oda deviates from this formula, its always better (water 7 saga, summit war saga, whole cake island etc)
For reference, my top 5 are:
Water 7/Ennies Lobby
Marineford
Whole cake island
Egghead
Alabasta
Skypiea was cool, but the problem was there was not enough plot-points going on, it was just an adventure.. some people may like that, but I didn’t find it as good as Alabasta...
Fishmen island had good themes and background, but the arc itself is ass.
Dressrosa and Wano both had everything needed to be the best arcs in one piece, but were poorly executed.. Dresrosa migh be the only kingdom saving arc to be better then Alabasta, it had higher highs.. but Alabasta was more consistent.. I found Dressrosa to have issues… and we all know Wano
I really like Elbaf, and might rank it above Alabasta once its done (depends on if Usopp does something), but its barely a kingdom-saving arc compared to all the other ones..
What yall thoughts?
