What main hand glyph to use on one bar beam build using velothi

Have been using a flame glyph on a deadly lightning staff and once I get velothi it’s seems like that glyph will no longer be useful since I’ll only be using LA for ultimate

If I use glyph of weapon damage does that increase weapon/spell damage also count for for fatecarver or only my damage from the staff? Looking at glyphs for weapons that and crushing seem like they would be my best bet?
