Playing slower

I am super conscious that I play way to fast. Im primarily a soloist. And I've always had this issue but.it seems to be getting worse. This is not something I've been criticized for but I've noticed myself when I hear a recording.

It's especially troubling when I play with other people. It's so easy to speed up and so hard to slow down.

I can't use a metronome on stage.....I don't think anyway. Anyone out there have the same problem and can offer a solution.

Just play slower is good advice and I know I'll get it. And I deserve it. But believe me I've tried
