Manager Issues - Conflict of Interest

My mom was diagnosed with PRES Syndrome back in June of 2025, its been a long and exhausting year of back and forth hospital visits, ambulance rides and everything else that comes with it.

In hindsight ive been missing shifts here and there because of this reason.

Ive come to realize that my manager is talking to the other employees in store about this and believes that im lying despite text message proof from my stepfather and pictures of her in the ICU.

I found out about this and its made it very hard to look at her the same way i once did.

Im in Ontario, Canada incase anyone was wondering. Just not sure what to do about this as its made the workplace rather toxic since there isnt many of us here in the first place.
