2013 BMW 535i m sport - Just replaced my water pump and thermostat for the second time - 85k

I've had the car for 10 years and its been great for the most part. Water pump blew at 60k about 4 1/2 years ago. Recently started overheating and pretty quickly after I'd turn the car on, shop I trust first couldnt find anything, then replaced the water pump and thermostat. Water pump seemed to be malfunctioning. I understand the cooling system on these cars isnt great, but for the water pump to only last 25k miles seems crazy. Anyone else have the same issue?
