Hi everyone. I have kind of a niche cosmetic question and I am hoping to hear from people who have actually dealt with this.

The veins in my hands are extremely visible and it has always bothered me a bit. I am pretty thin and have low body fat, so I think that is part of the reason. I also take a medication that tends to dehydrate me, so even though I try to drink a lot of water I suspect that probably contributes as well. That said, even before I started this medication my hands have always looked pretty veiny and a little rough compared to most people my age.

I have recently started looking into filler for the backs of the hands to add a little volume and make the veins less noticeable. I believe Radiesse is the one that is commonly used for this. The problem is that it has been surprisingly difficult to find before and after photos that feel trustworthy. A lot of the images online seem like they are from clinics advertising the procedure and it is hard to know what the results actually look like in real life.

If anyone here has had filler in their hands, I would love to hear about your experience. Did it make a noticeable difference? How long did the results last? Did it feel natural afterwards? If you happen to have before and after photos you are comfortable sharing, that would honestly be really helpful as well since it has been hard to find real examples.

I am also open to hearing about other things that helped if you have dealt with very visible hand veins. I am mainly curious about filler at the moment, but I would be interested in any treatments that made a meaningful difference.
