First time drawing a full-sized anime character. How can I improve my skill?

I've drawn some cubes with perspective before, so I don't think I'm that new to art in general, but this is the first time I actually put a lot of effort into an art. This is the very first time I draw a full-sized anime character, and I choose pixel art because it seems like the most accessible option for me. Please tell me how can I improve my skill further, anything that I should look up, or any tutorial I should watch. I've spent many hours on this one alone and I hope that I'll be able to draw much quicker.
