Advice for someone in BA Economics with Minor Financial Markets

I (19M) study BA Economics with a minor in Financial Markets at a tier 2 college with a 100% merit scholarship. My original plan was to work in finance after graduation, pursue a master’s abroad, and try to get into investment banking. But looking at the uncertain job market, I recently started looking into RBI Grade B, and the role genuinely interests me because of the work and stability. Since the minimum age is 21, my first attempt would be in 2028, which means I would likely have about one year to prepare after graduation. Do you think it’s better to continue with the private finance route, or focus on preparing for RBI Grade B? Also, is one year of preparation realistically enough to crack the exam?
