Haven’t been hooked like this in awhile

I love the way it drags you in, the matches are unpredictable and chaos can erupt at anytime.

I was worried because it’s an extraction shooter which you think would just get boring after so many iterations but this game just leaves a different message in your mind to keep running.

In other extraction games I get worried to use my best loot because obviously I don’t want to lose it, but in marathon you feel expandable. If I die, instead of being upset I lost my best loot, I know I have another shell waiting to run to get more loot. It starts to engrave in your mind that everything is after you and that if you die, you go back to the start and keep running.

I just wanted to share this thought that this game is leaving on me, I just haven’t had a game give me this feeling and it’s definitely unique and I enjoy every minuet whether I get out or I die because you I know i’m expendable.

Run, Loot, Die Trying, Repeat
