Welcome back my Beach Babes!

It's clear there was synergy between each team and you all collaborated very well. I thought the overall standard of the submissions was very high. The quality of the submissions as a pair was incredibly close when deliberating and it was a matter of splitting hairs at the end.
Let's move on to my critiques and judging, where you will be judged as teams...

**Aluna** and **Miz Erie**
*I really like the way you both went with a maroon colour story, while reflective of the team name, the colour had a lot of depth for the narrative and a great contrast against the gold accents. Aluna, I think you had the better look of the two as it felt more fully realisef- in a way it looked like it was created first and Miz's was made after and forced to pair with it. Using pieces from the same set is a great way to add resemblance and cohesion among the too so I found that to be very smart. I did feel the cohesion suffered a lot conceptually with Miz's eye makeup and top choice. Carrying through the maroon eye makeup colour into both looks would have landed a bit better. Since Aluna's look is lacking any pattern details, the inclusion of pattern though Miz's top choice was disconnected between both looks. Miz opting for a different top or Aluna opting for a skirt with a similar or same pattern would have been more connected. Another factor lacking cohesion was Miz's shoe choice, since gems aren't present in both looks opting for level two would been a better choice. Beyond just resemblance, I did think ruculouring everything the same maroon colour a bit of a simple and an easy way out for creating looks. I thought you both balanced the golds really well and these accents elevated each look individually and as a pair.
With the narrative, I felt the Hell's Princesses concept a bit predictable for the colour assigned. The inclusion of collecting souls really elevated it into something interesting and created ways for you both to be innovative with your looks. I enjoyed the way you gave the twisted sisters different personalities and roles, this really distinguished your differences in the task and help you each shine individually. Ultimately I felt like there was a resemblance between the two, credited to utilising two pieces from the same set across the two looks. Despite the resemblance I felt the creativity was pretty low for the challenge and it wasn't pushed as far as it could have been, and just recolouring every piece in each look the same colour a bit simple and lacking innovation.*

**Frankie Foxx** and **Heather Luxxxury**
*I want to begin with saying you each had the stronger narrative of your duo for this challenge. I really enjoyed the way you pushed and elevated an otherwise predictable concept. You fleshed it out and added a lot of detailing and storytelling for Lyra and Nyra, in a very beautiful way that really reflected your individual looks. Having the two spirits contrast eachother and not just being identical was really exciting and added a lot of layers to the story, and really opened up potential for the looks also.
With the looks, individually you both had fantastic and very beautiful looks that were very elevated and exciting. Although I liked hthese looks individually, I struggled to see a lot resemblance between the two when paired together. I really enjoy the difference blues you each went for and thought that was exciting, but for the different blues to really work there needed to be a closer connection begin the looks and unfortunately there wasn't. I did enjoy the structured shaped wigs in each look, the use of voluminous fabric, and fantasy aesthetics, but beyond these positives there was just a lot that broke down the resemblance betweenthe two. One look featured gold accents whereas the other didn't which just highlighted the difference between the two. One had an armour aesthetic with weapons whereas the other did not. One had a floral print print that stood out despite being sky based whereas the other lacked that details. One has a structural open styled shoe and the other had a boot. I really felt Heather had the most dynamic look of the two and really balanced all the tones and colours very well, arguably the best look in the entire challenge individually speaking. Frankie, your look was very ethereal and light and was very beautiful though for this type of look I don't think boots works well with the overall lightness of it. Each look just had very different styles that reinforced the lack of resemblance that made them feel too disconnected. Under normal circumstances these looks would be fantastic on their own but for a challenge like this as a pair, and resemblance being a key factor, they failed to visually pair well together beyond some aspects and the idea of being blue.*

While I felt one team excelled more in the narrative portion and another team excelled more in the look portion, for me differentiating these very close submissions ultimately comes down to the visual resemblances shared...

Condragulations Aluna and Miz Erie, you both will be facing off against one another for the looksync for the win.

Unfortunately for both you, Frankie Foxx and Heather Luxxxury, you two will be going head to head against one another in the looksync for your life where one will be eliminated...
