Hawaii Babymoon Recs

Question

I've read through quite a few threads on here re: FS Wailea, Andaz, Hotel Wailea, etc. and thank you to all of you who have helped inform my process! Maybe just trying to get a bit of a final "sniff test" to see if I'm missing anything on where I've landed.

We'll be about 22-23 weeks pregnant, with out first, so keep in mind I partially have no idea what will make the most sense for my wife.

We can spend cash, but I have 200k amex point and 500k chase points, so ideally trying to minimize cash spend (though we get tons of points every year and don’t need to be efficient on point spend).

That's led me to think 2-3 nights at Hotel Wailea and 3-4 nights (6 total? long enough for Hawaii? Too long for traveling while pregant?). Seems like Maui is the move for babymoon (maybe less adventurous trip than Kauai would warrant). Coming from Denver.

I've read enough reviews that people seem to still adore the Hotel Wailea even without beach access. Do you typically spend your time still at the beach? Or the pool is great? But gardened in and no view from the pool, right?

Is Andaz "nice enough" (knowing it's not FS or Fairmont, etc.), and also big enough that we wouldn't get bored 3-4 nights there? We're totally OK with it not being the absolute most luxurious, just want ot make sure we're being wise too.

We probably could fit just one night at either FS Wailea or FS Lanai using some Amex points if we did another night or two at Andaz. Are either of those worth it for just one night?

Anything I'm totally missing here? Thanks in advance!
