Why isn’t there a social/friends section of this subreddit?

There’s almost 95,000 visitors that check this subreddit and everyone talks about the extreme isolation they have to endure with this illness.

I never understood why there’s no social/friend subsection in this subreddit?

Seems like a big missed opportunity. Are we allowed to make posts to find friends/connections in here? It always feels so awkward to make one since i rarely see any made.
