Cat won’t leave water bowl alone

Hi there!

My cat Cosmo will not leave the water bowl alone. He tips standard/weighted bowls over and dumps water everywhere. I recently got him a fountain he cannot tip over BUT now he plays in the fountain and splashes the water all over the floor STILL. We obviously keep a mat underneath but it gets soaked. I’m not really sure what to do, I’ve tried weighted bowls, Tupperware as a waterbowl and this fountain now but he just really likes dumping the water onto the floor.

Just kind of at my wits end with it if anyone has advice.
