You should really go to church

Obviously, this is directed at believers and those who are wanting to become one.

Attended church today for the first time in months for reasons not important to this post. When I entered the sanctuary I felt a sense of relief. I wouldn’t even necessarily describe the church I went to as my home church as my participation is spotty, at best, so it wasn’t like a homecoming to a beloved place, I just needed the fellowship.

I am one of those who would tell someone who asked if they had to go to church that it isn’t legally necessary for salvation, but it is better for you if you do go, and I think I needed reminded of that for myself.

So, yeah, short and simple, you should really do all you can to attend a church regularly. Avoiding church makes it so much harder than it needs to be, spiritually.
