Just rolled 300K on 22RE last month & think I heard a knock on a fresh-ish oil change (about 1k miles of use)

So I’ve been using Valvoline’s Restore & Protect 5W-30 in my truck throughout the winter & it’s been great, but I heard a few loud sounds that sounded like knocking, but I wasn’t sure.

So I changed the oil out & cut the filter open & don’t see anything overly concerning.

Maybe I’m just being overly cautious/ nervous.

Anybody else running VR&P 5W-30 in their engines?

Also, I’ve noticed that it is made in 10W-40, but I’m having a hell if a time finding it for sale in the United States.
