Kamo vs Choso

Does Kamo genuinely just speedblitz Choso, pre shinjuku? Because Kamo was reacting to a curse naoya, while choso was getting blitzed by a base, unstacked naoya. Or does the kenjaku fight bridge that gap in speed, because Im not sure how it does. Also I think it would be incredibly funny.
