Edging Accident (CW: Crushing)

I almost accidently crushed my tiny while edging this morning. I think I should start having morals in these stories so the moral for this one is “check for tinies before you start edging!”

I personally hate edging. I know some people enjoy it but I derive no pleasure in the activity. It takes too long and the longer you do it the harder it gets. But eventually I looked myself in the mirror and said “Rose stop stalling. You need to edge.” Sure I could use magic to help me edge and it would probably be easier to have someone help me with my edging, but I’m a strong independent witch and I can edge on my own! Sometimes I want to roll up my sleeves and get physical so I don’t get too lazy.

So I put on some comfortable clothes and started edging. Shortly after I started I heard a tiny scream from below. It was my tiny assistant! He was napping where I was edging. I wasn’t looking and, well, let’s just say if I didn’t spot him he would have been crushed!

I immediately stopped edging and picked up the poor guy. He was understandably distraught. But I calmed him down and told him not to be scared, that when I resumed edging tomorrow he could watch and maybe even help!

My tiny assistant was really excited about the idea of helping me edge. As I said earlier I don’t find edging very interesting. Who wants to watch someone put down a barrier to keep grass out of flowerbeds? But hey, maybe the tiny has a green thumb! 😇
