What are your thoughts on No kids until Marriage
I am generally curious on the communities though based on previous exp, in which I suppose will some will find difficult to answer. In recent yrs, the older I become, the more I see more out of wedlock marriage that leave women stranded or on the receiving end of having no support when he can choose to go and come as they please.
Well, marriage to me before having kids is like saying "Why by the cow when you can get the milk for free." A very lose term in which I have heard from the more toxic version of the male community, while vs we do have dedicated spouses and dads who took the leap of faith and settled down first before having kids.
Now I am not here to slut shame any women on this page, because that is not only wrong, but also every women goes through something. But my question is based on weather.
Should more women who are in long term relationship refuse to build a family until he puts the ring on the table or gamble on the hopes and dreams that he stays and prays that he doesn't do something behind your back?
Marriage is not going to keep a family together, lets be honest about that. But marriage does give me clarity and hope that our relationship has reached it's peak and we can finally move forward to the stabilizing it.
In my book, why should any women provide him a legacy, when he won't even provide her a stable relationship? Why should she risk it with no guarantee that the children are covered? Including her. She risked her life, she made sacrifices to abstain from certain things that could harm the pregnancy. She suffered in labor and before labor to give you a child. And yet, where is the hesitation?
Why must marriage be treated like a man holding the fishing pole with a dollar bill/ring on the other end laughing about how you almost got it while knowing you want the full package and not just half?
Some of these answers I feel will help me thinking carefully about weather I am willing to risk this decision or not. Because really, I love him. Very deeply, he has a stable job, a great education. But I am hesitant on ever making a family with someone who won't honor me through the commitment of marriage.
