Is 55k words with no established relationship too slow for a slow burn?

I’m writing a slow burn fic and wanted to get some perspective on pacing.

Right now the story is about 55k words in (14 chapters) and the main pairing hasn’t actually established a relationship yet. There’s a lot of interaction, tension, and plot happening, but they’re definitely still in the “complicated feelings” stage 😅
