Why people think ancient violent runes will break the game?

I've seen a lot of comments saying this is bad for the game and whales will be more rewarded from this and etc, but it's been like that for a looong time, I don't think it's a big of a problem, but maybe that's because I'm missing something about this, what I think it's really problematic, is com2us saying they won't put something in the game and doing the oppose, that makes me concerned. Anyway, what do you think about this?
